What you DON'T want to see your 9mo old putting in her mouth!

I know, I know..i'm a blogging maniac these days....
this one is for Katie and Davina b/c they both would be totally grossed out by this!
Erika can really get around now....INFACT..while i'm writing let me tell you about today..
I was getting her ready for her nap and I put her down and she b-lined it for the door..which is normal but the BEST part was I said "Erika, come on it's time to go 'night night" and she looked back at me and then started crawling as fast as she could!!" it was SO funny...what alittle stinker...
anyway, onto the grossness....
well, it's not THAT bad but maybe i'm just becuase i'm comparing it to when Megan put dry dog poop in her mouth at the park when she was one. I don't know.
So, the other day I can hear her playing and I was on the computer (bad mommy!I know...but I have a BUSINESS to run okay?),...I could tell she had something in her mouth, so I called her and she peeked around the corner with this:

So...much to my dismay, Steve came home last night at 1:00am (!!) from Canada and brought his nana's dining room table and 6 chairs, a Humungous dresser and another desk ~!
I was a little ticked b/c i've been working on DOWNSIZING to get rid of clutter....
anyway....
i'm now looking for a home for my old dining room table. It's FREE if you'll come get it:) I could sell it on craigslist but i'm too busy.
it's pine table top with white legs...I think it's nice but steve didn't like it (apparently!)..
it has 4 chairs and is a small dining table .
If you want it or need it or know anyone who needs a table please let me know right away! it' s not like i have extra space to be storing this stuff around! :)

Raising a baby in a toddler's world....of CLOTHES that is~

so, when I was pregnant....I did lots of shopping...surprise surprise...but it's fun to buy clothes and I wanted Erika to have clothes of her own and not just all hand me downs.
I went to All about kids alot which is a 2nd hand store for babies. I found this adorable outfit of green cords and peach zip up sweater that I just HAd to buy! I didn't expect to see my toddler in it for along time since it's 18mo-2yr but lo and behold today it came out of the closet.....
this girl is crazy. she's wearing the outfits megan was wearing at 18-20mos old! the pants were a a little long, but other than that..it fit perfectly....well I couldn't zip up the hoodie very well cause it was so tight lol...

Don't you just want to sqeeze her??!! I swear I have the cutest chubbiest babies in the world!!

On Wednesday...

Katie and Trent and the girls were on their way to Seattle so they stopped in for dinner and the girls got to play!
they had soooooooooo much fun as you will see:)

It's so crazy to think back to when Lily was just a baby and Meg too...they've totally grown up together the last 2.5yrs. So sweet!

Megan and Lily were in her room playing...(well WRESTLING actually!..what a bunch of 'boys' lol) and then Lucy crawled back there....and then Erika followed..it was really cute to see the babies follow the big girls back there and to see them all playing together-such a precious moment. I just love all 4 of these girls!!

missing my family:(

So Steve and Megan have gone to Canada for his Nana's funeral....I couldn't go b/c of course I had a wedding:(:(.....I thought I would enjoy having some time alone but to be honest...we're just bored! well...not that i've had much time to BE bored b/c i'm been working so much.....and why aren't I alseep right now? anyway....tonight Erika and I were just laying on the floor playing and the house was so silent....no megan running around trying to get Erika's attention and make her laugh...No steve wrestling with the girls or updating his website! LOL..okay...he'll laugh if he reads that. anyway...I just realized...I don't want a break!:( I love my little family and I miss them. what the heck are Erika and I going to do for 2 more days? I talk to her..but lets face it...she doesn't exactly engage in conversation with me....unless you consider "Da!"..or " yaya" conversation..
She is reallly smart though...she can wave bye bye now...but she says "yayayaya" while waving..it's pretty cute.

well, i'm off to bed....i'm such an idiot for not being in bed sooner...I found some blogs of old friends from my mission and that just lead to reading one blog after another...how do I get pulled into this darn computer all the time?! ugh...

Sooooooooooooo Big!

So, we have this little tradition in our family.....when we were little babies, my mom would say "How big is Nicole?" or Tracey..or Tina....anyway...then she'd say "Sooooooo big!" and we'd raise our hands over our heads....it's pretty cute.
anyway, All 3 of us girls have taught our babies to do the same thing....
so, here's is Erika mastering it. make sure you watch the 2nd one...it's pretty cute and So on Q!

He's Pinned!

So tonight was Steve's pinning Ceremony:) As they move from 3rd to 4th year and go into the outpatient clinic, they get Pinned:)

He was asked to speak at the ceremony and he did a fabulous job! a perfect mix of humor and emotion. I was so proud of him:) I brought Megan with me and she had to promise me to sit still through the whole thing. She did a GREAT job...was very well behaved. She still amazes me sometimes and I realize I take her for granted. Not many 3yr olds can be that well behaved for that long, she did a great job!Here are some pictures from tonight.

It was a great night. I'm SO proud of Steve. He has done an amazing job this last 3yrs and he is obviously well respected by his classmates which I think is really important. He inspires me to be my best b/c he always strives for Excellence.

On the Move

Erika is trying DESPERATELY to crawl.....she goes from her bum to her knees, back to her bum, to her tummy...then spins backwards in circles etc....it is so fun to watch her.
Plus...she is just so darn cute and has the most precious smile i've ever seen:)

U. UNKNOWN FACT ABOUT ME: I saved a man from drowning when I was 12yrs old. I was on the front page of the newspaper and received a good Samaritan award. Very few people know that about me. It took me years to tell anyone. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate what a special experience it was and how grateful I am the Lord put me there that day. Me and My friend Chrissy were the only ones in the pool besides him and his daughter. It was her 8th birthday. If we hadn’t been there, he would have been dead. After pulling him from the bottom of the pool, I had nightmares for weeks of just seeing his face ( it was grayish blue when I pulled him out).

Our second day in lincoln city, our friends Joe and Christie and their 2 boys came up for the day, it was lots of fun!!!
