Pump me up!

So, I'm planning to run this half marathon in 5wks and i'm a little nervous.
I'm hoping that having my Ipod with some great music will distract me and help me finish the race.
SO...I need suggestions for songs for my Ipod....anything with inspiring words, beat etc. doesn't necessarily have to be a fast up beat song...some of my favorite running songs so far are :

Hook by Blues Travellers
If I were a boy by Beyonce
Paralyzer by Finger Eleven...

so you can see I have no rules when it comes to running music...
So PLEASE give me your suggestions!!!!

thanks:)

Hokey Pokey. If you sing it really fast and follow the instructions "put your right foot in" you can run at incredible speeds.

sorry that i'm totally creeping onto your blog. . . (i'm lacey's cousin), but anyways, I absolutely love running to Tim McGraw's "How Bad Do You Want It." Seriously, the lyrics make me go harder and faster. So that's a little suggestion from a stranger. Also, I agree, Eye of the Tiger.

I really love "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse, "More Than Fine" by Switchfoot, "Sugar" by Tonic, "The Hardest Part" by Coldplay, "In a Little While" by U2, and "15 Step" by Radiohead. I could go on and on. I have a huge running playlist on my ipod. Love it!! Anyway, those are some of my favs.

OK so I could give you a lot of songs I used to run to, have not quite got myself into the "place" to start running since having the twins..

This is such a "young" song but hey, we are still plenty young.. but its addictive

Untouched by "The Veronicas"

Jai Ho by A.R Rahman (its from the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack) highly suggest that movie if you have not seen it.. One of the best I've seen in years! (clean too)

Nothing Special by IllScarlett (radio version)

This is how it feels - "The Veronicas" (radio version because the album version drops a strong cuss word in the middle of the song

Do I Go by Evren

Turnaround by "The Jimmy Swift Band"

Street Sleeper by Grand Theft Bus (one of my songs that I put on my play list for when I started to know I would be tired.. love love this song!)

Go old school and do
Hot Stuff by Donna Summers

This Boy's Fire (Ft. Jennifer Lopez And baby Bash) Santana

If you want more just let me know...
